Tank ring with retaining plate included

The complete product consists of the black BASIC tank ring and the matching fastening unit for the tank bag. Its position on the tank bag depends on the tank shape and steering lock. The tank bag itself is not included.

Audible engagement, deliberate release

A fitted tank bag is locked to the ring purely mechanically. A strap on its front side in the direction of travel releases it. The fuel cap can still be opened with the tank ring installed.

Information about the BASIC system

The retaining plate of a Lock-it tank bag cannot be used on this BASIC ring. Both connecting parts must belong to the same system. Neither ABE approval nor registration is required for installation as intended; BMW requirements and model-specific instructions must nevertheless be followed.
