BASIC tank ring for the Kawasaki Z H2 from 2022 to 2026

This connection set is designed precisely for the Kawasaki Z H2, model years 2022 to 2026, and is used to attach a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag.

Both system components in the set

The silver BASIC tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag are supplied. The retaining plate is aligned on the tank bag according to the tank contour and steering lock. A tank bag is not part of this set.

Fitting and removal

When placed on the tank ring, the purely mechanical lock audibly engages. A strap at the front of the tank bag is used for unlocking. The fuel cap also remains operable with the ring fitted.

System limitations and approval

The BASIC tank ring and BASIC retaining plate must be used as a combined system; a Lock-it retaining plate does not fit. Neither an ABE nor registration is required when installed as intended. The vehicle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific requirements also remain applicable.
