BASIC tank ring for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R from 2020 to 2026

The model-specific tank ring is designed for the 2020 to 2026 Honda CBR 1000 RR-R. It provides the mechanical mount for a suitable Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag while keeping the fuel cap accessible.

Complete unit for the tank bag

Included are the black BASIC tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate, which is attached to the tank bag. Its position can be adjusted to suit the tank shape and steering lock. A compatible BASIC tank bag is also required for use.

Attaching and releasing

The tank bag is placed on the ring and audibly engages with the mechanical lock. To remove it, pull the strap on the front side of the tank bag in the direction of travel.

System compatibility and formalities

A BASIC tank ring requires a BASIC retaining plate; Lock-it retaining plates are not compatible. Neither ABE nor registration is required when installed as intended. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and the model-specific information in the instructions must be observed.
