BASIC tank ring for the Honda CBR 500 R from 2019 to 2023

This BASIC tank ring is tailored to the 2019 to 2023 Honda CBR 500 R. It provides a mechanical mounting point for a compatible Hepco & Becker tank bag while allowing the fuel filler cap to remain accessible.

Complete with tank-bag retaining plate

The black unit includes both the model-specific tank ring and the matching retaining plate. Its position on the tank bag can be adjusted to the tank shape and steering lock. A suitable BASIC tank bag is also required.

Mechanical locking function

The tank bag audibly engages on the ring when fitted. It is unlocked using the strap located at the front of the tank bag in the direction of travel.

Do not combine BASIC and Lock-it

The BASIC tank ring can only be used with a BASIC retaining plate. Lock-it components are not compatible with it. If installed as intended, neither ABE nor registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and the instructions must also be observed.
