AXP underrun protection made of PE-HD 8mm for the KTM 890 Adventure

The AXP underrun protection protects the lower vehicle area of the KTM 890 Adventure with an 8mm thick PE-HD construction. The component weighs 3.9 kg and is finished in orange. Its revised version combines the proven structure with several functional adjustments for vehicle assignment.

Function and construction

• The protective structure covers both sides of the tank and includes the fuel pump in the protected area.
• An integrated intermediate foam prevents friction and paint chips between the contact surfaces.
• The version is designed to be installed together with the original KTM fuel pump guard.
• The newly designed protective plate sits in front of the tank shoe, preventing the plastic from melting and coming into contact with the front fender.
• The welds are reinforced with 4mm thick aluminum plates.
• There is an opening for hose routing on the right side.
