The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder with 63 mm bore and 14 mm piston pin is intended for the Vespa Sprint 4 T 3 V from the 2014-2017 model year range. The version works with a stroke of 58.6 mm, a displacement of 182.67 cm³ and a compression ratio of 11.15:1.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact three-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is reduced in weight and reinforced; The processing is carried out on numerically controlled machine tools. The improved heat exchange surfaces complement the design.

The ring set includes an I-ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy. The special rings are designed for high sliding properties and very high mechanical strength.
