PUIG Z-Racing screen for the YAMAHA YZF-R9

Sporty lines meet specifically developed aerodynamic functions: The PUIG Z-Racing screen was designed for the YAMAHA YZF-R9 of the 2025 model year. Its double height directs the wind over the helmet and upper torso, while side channels direct the air outwards, reducing pressure in the shoulder area.

Tested aerodynamics for road and racing posture

PUIG developed the Z-Racing line with the aim of combining an aggressive racing look with comfort and function. The disc was tested in the virtual wind tunnel. Compared to the original screen, the aerodynamic protection improves on average by 12.7 percent with the upper body upright and by 61 percent in the racing position.

• 30 mm higher than the original disc
• Made from 3mm thick, high impact acrylic
• Rounded 2mm edge according to German TÜV safety control

Assembly with the original screws

The Z-Racing disc is attached using the existing original screws. Additional edge binding is not required.

Versions for an individual look

The lens is available in blue, carbon look, heavily tinted, tinted, matt black, black, red and clear. This means you can choose the sporty shape to match the desired appearance of the YZF-R9.
