The Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit Road protects the front brake lever of the Yamaha YZF-R1M from unintentional operation. Its racetrack-tested design is suitable for use on the road and at track days.

Construction and material

• Protective bar made of high-quality solid aluminum material, precisely CNC milled
• Designed to minimize disruptive air turbulence
• Model-specific attachment via an Evotech handlebar end weight
• Guard bars and handlebar end weights with durable black powder coating

Additional benefit

The larger road version is heavier and more robust than the original bar end weight. This allows it to reduce high-frequency vibrations that affect the driver's hands.

• Brake lever protection for the right side of the handlebar
• Model-specific Evotech handlebar end weight for attachment
• Matching Evotech replacement handlebar end weight for the left side

Assembly instructions

The special Evotech mounting system allows for easy and secure attachment to the handlebars. The kit is intended exclusively for use with the original throttle tube and the original handlebar grip.

After assembly, it must be checked that the throttle grip play, smooth opening and independent closing of the throttle valve actuation are not impaired in any way.
