The PROX forged piston is designed as a replacement in equivalent original equipment quality for the Yamaha YZ 250 F (CG 34) built in 2014-2015. Its forged aluminum design and special alloy combine the structural properties of a forged piston with a precisely defined design for the 4-stroke engine.

Design and function

A patented surface treatment reduces friction in the cylinder. The flat crown with raised top part and 4 valve pockets is tailored to the specified piston geometry. The forged piston has a standard compression of 13.5:1 and is therefore suitable for replacement within this design.
