The rear YSS Gas Top Line Z-Series shock absorber is intended for the Yamaha XJ 6 N (RJ 22) built between 2013 and 2016. It offers adjustable rebound damping and adjustable spring preload so that the movement of the spring and shock absorber can be precisely coordinated.

Adjustable cushioning

The rebound button is used to regulate the flow of hydraulic oil via the vent. When adjusted, the button produces a clicking sound that makes adjustment easier. Damper settings include rebound and preload.

Spring preload
