The POLINI HT clutch is designed for racing use on Vespas. With this design, the inner hub takes over the connection to the crankshaft, while the outer bell no longer performs this function. The reverse functional principle forms the basis for the special design of the clutch.

Function and construction

• Pressure plate on thrust bearing for smooth operation.
• Aluminum bell as part of the clutch construction.
• Cover of the block with oil collecting channel.
• Aluminum discs enlarged by 8 teeth to increase transmission efficiency.
• Adjustable spring force to adjust the clutch.
• Z23 pinion with helical teeth for the matching primary toothing of this version.

The POLINI HT clutch allows selection of primary gearing to adjust gear ratios. The gearshift works precisely and smoothly, thereby supporting effortless gear changes. By replacing the primary gear, the clutch can be customized with other available replacement parts from the HT clutch family.

Factual note
