Sporty lines meet specifically developed aerodynamic protective effects: The New Generation Sport windshield from PUIG gives the TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS [2025] a more striking front and directs the wind past the side of the upper body. The clear, minimalist character of the naked bike is retained.

Aerodynamics developed in the wind tunnel

PUIG developed and tested the windshield in the wind tunnel. Its Z-shaped contour directs the airflow to the sides so that it does not directly hit the upper body. According to aerodynamic research, the design improves rider protection by 26 percent without worsening the aerodynamic coefficient.

At 305 mm high and 275 mm wide, the windshield protrudes 120 mm beyond the instrument unit. This creates additional coverage without unnecessarily overloading the slim front design.

Durable, precisely engineered construction

The windshield, made in Barcelona, is made of 3 mm thick methacrylate. The highly transparent material offers high resistance to possible impacts and scratches. The 4mm rounded edge increases safety and meets demanding European regulations.

Vehicle-specific attachment

It is attached using a single, 3 mm thick metal holder with a matt black finish. It is anchored behind the instrument unit and holds the windshield via four screw points with silent blocks and bushings. Inserted threaded elements make positioning easier and prevent them from falling out or coming loose during attachment. The two screws on the back of the instrument unit are used for assembly; PUIG specifies an assembly time of around 15 minutes.
