PUIG D12 Spoiler for the YAMAHA MT-07 Y-AMT

The PUIG D12 spoiler combines a shape precisely tailored to the YAMAHA MT-07 Y-AMT with an aerodynamically effective double wing configuration. Two wing surfaces lying one above the other direct the air flow in a targeted manner and generate additional downforce on the front axle without significantly influencing the aerodynamic drag coefficient of the motorcycle.

Double wings for targeted aerodynamics

The D12 construction consists of two aerodynamic surfaces that are connected to each other via a side spoiler surface. Since the upper surface is more inclined than the lower, the flow is directed towards the upper wing. This creates up to 3.3 kg of downforce on the front axle.

Design integrated into the front section

PUIG has specifically tailored the contours of the D12 spoiler to the front of the MT-07. The component encloses the Yamaha logo, while the beginning and end follow the edges of the side fairing parts. This means that the spoiler fits closely into the lines of the original parts.

Material and workmanship

Developed and manufactured in Barcelona, the D12 spoiler is made of 4 mm thick CN acrylic with rounded edges. 3 mm thick metal holders with corrosion protection and a structured black paint finish are used for fastening, which visually matches the side panel parts of the MT-07.
