PUIG D12 spoiler with aerodynamic double wing system

The PUIG D12 spoiler was specially developed for the HONDA CB 1000 HORNET SP from 2025. Its two separate wing surfaces and the side winglet form a performance-oriented aerodynamic system that increases downforce on the front axle without significantly affecting the drag coefficient.

Well thought-out flow guidance

The upper wing surface is more inclined than the lower one. Together with the side winglet, this arrangement directs the air specifically upwards and generates additional downforce on the front axle. At maximum speed, up to 13 kg of downforce is possible, depending on aerodynamic conditions.

The shape and arrangement of the surfaces support several dynamic properties:

• Anti-wheelie effect during strong acceleration
• greater stability at high speeds and less shimmy tendency
• improved stability when braking
• more precision and stability when changing direction

Precisely manufactured construction

PUIG develops and manufactures the D12 spoiler entirely in Barcelona. The wing surfaces are made of 4 mm thick CN acrylic and have rounded edges. 3 mm thick aluminum holders with a glossy black surface are used for fastening, which optically match the original side panels of the Honda.

Four independent versions

The D12 spoiler is available in matt black, glossy black, carbon look and as a special S version with exclusive graphic design. This means that the aerodynamic construction can be selected to match the desired appearance.

Assembly and documentation

The construction is designed for easy assembly without modifications to the motorcycle and without special tools. No prior mechanical knowledge is required.
