KTM 990 SMT [2009-2013] - folding clutch and short brake lever set

Control and protection in a coordinated lever set

Developed by Evotech Performance, the set combines a full-length folding clutch lever with a short two-finger brake lever. Deeply rounded edges support comfortable operation and a controlled lever feel.

Foldable clutch lever

If it comes into contact with a solid object, the clutch lever blade can deflect upwards to reduce the risk of breakage. It is then returned to its original position by hand. A tensioned spring and bearing hold the lever securely in position while driving.

Short brake lever

The non-folding Evo short brake lever is designed for operation with two fingers. Its ball end is closer to the vehicle than a standard length lever. A defined breaking point at the end of the ball complements the design.

Individual setting

• Six adjustment positions on both levers
• Typical adjustment range of 17 mm ± 1 mm, measured at the center of the lever
• Milled markings show the selected position
• Red anodized adjusters for different finger lengths

Materials and workmanship

• Lever blades and holder connections made from milled solid aluminum material
• CNC machined stainless steel clevis pins and locking clips
• Milled back sides to reduce weight while maintaining strength
• Black, durable anodization of the levers and holder connections
• Dimensions of the ball ends in accordance with legal requirements

Assembly

The CNC-milled holder connections are designed for precise assembly of the intended original components. After installation, both levers can be adjusted to the desired grip width using the anodized adjusters.
