The AXP Xtrem underrun protection protects the substructure of the KTM 350 SX F in demanding off-road use. The version made of 8 mm thick PE-HD covers the entire frame up to the footrests and thus includes central areas of the motorcycle in the protection.

Protection for important components

The skid plate is designed to protect the water pump, housings and linkage. The polyethylene plastic used is 30-40% lighter than a similar aluminum skid plate. This means that the design combines the large-area protection of the frame with a weight of 1.5kg.

The material does not generate vibrations and is not subject to deformation. This makes the Xtrem underrun protection suitable for drivers who want to specifically protect the frame area as well as the water pump, housing and linkage.
