Materials and components

The Excel rim is made of 7000 aluminum and is made in Japan. The hub is machined from 1 piece of 6082 billet aluminum. Koyo bearings support the storage of the wheel. Central tube and spacers are made of 7075 aluminum. Depending on the application, 32 or 36 spokes made of special stainless steel are used; these are described as having 30% higher strength than OEM.
