BOYESEN Wheel Membrane Block for KTM 300 EXC 2002-2003

The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is developed as a model-specific intake system for the KTM 300 EXC from the 2002-2003 model year range. Its design combines a flow-optimized inner surface with variably flexible membrane plates in order to guide the intake air specifically through the membrane block.

Function and construction

• The block is made of 100% aluminum.
• The optimized inner surface supports an even airflow.
• A 4-way diffuser optimizes the air flows and counteracts pressure losses.
• The model-specific membrane plates have variable flexibility and are made of aviation-grade carbon.
• The membrane plates are coated with rubber and are hydrocarbon-resistant. This supports a longer service life for the seals.

Technical advantages

The design of the inlet system takes model-specific membrane plates and several opening levels into account. Together with the optimized inner surface and the 4-way diffuser, the design aims for optimized intake air flows, higher efficiency and better pulling power. The technical design also supports the optimization of power, torque and elasticity.

Vehicle assignment and assembly

The membrane block is assigned to the KTM 300 EXC for the entire 2002-2003 model year range. Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery. The assembly takes place directly without modification.
