The underrun protection made of 8 mm thick PE-HD protects the lower area of the vehicle from contact with obstacles. The material does not deform, reduces vibrations and avoids loud shocks on the track. Compared to a corresponding aluminum underrun guard, this version is 30 to 40% lighter.
