Complete top end kit with forged piston for the Husqvarna FE 450

The VERTEX Top End Kit supports the overhaul of the upper engine area of the HUSQVARNA FE 450. It bundles the parts intended for replacing the piston and associated components in a coordinated set and can thereby reduce time and costs when overhauling the engine.

Piston and execution

The forged piston is made of aluminum and features standard piston compression. The design is given for a 4T application. The piston diameter is 94.96 mm, the bore is 95.00 mm. The compression ratio is 11.8:1.

Scope of delivery

The kit includes pistons, piston rings, piston pins, locking clips and a top-end gasket set. The four-stroke version specified here also includes a timing chain.
