Classic 7-inch headlight for smaller Honda CB

CB 250, CB 400, CB 500 and CB 550 offer a harmonious context for classic Honda CB projects. The universal 7-inch LTD-style main headlight takes up this design language with a black housing, clear glass and H4 prism reflector. Since it is a universal part, its use must be technically evaluated for each specific motorcycle.

These values must be taken into account

• H4 for 12V, 60/55W
• Parking light 4 W at 12 V
• M8 side mounting with 200mm spacing
• Outer diameter 201mm
• Glass/reflector diameter 168 mm
• Housing depth 138 mm
• E-approved

Don't just look at the diameter

In addition to the external dimensions, the depth of the black housing is important. There must be room for connections and cables behind the headlight without being pinched or severely bent. Also compare the M8 mounts with existing or specially planned holders and take their stability into account.

When connecting electrically, the actual connections and the 12 V design of the respective motorcycle must be checked. A full steering angle must not result in contact with the tank, forks, instruments, cables or cables.

The note E-approved refers to the headlight itself. Whether the position, attachment, adjustment and overall conversion are permissible on a CB 250, CB 400, CB 500 or CB 550 must be checked separately. Existing changes can additionally influence the installation conditions.
