PROX connecting rod set for GAS GAS EC 250 F

The PROX connecting rod set is designed as an OEM-oriented replacement for the GAS GAS EC 250 F connecting rod assembly. Manufacturing takes place in Japan by leading OEM factories. OEM specifications and tolerances are taken into account so that the set can be used precisely in the intended engine application.

Function and construction

The connecting rod connects the piston and the crank mechanism and is exposed to high mechanical loads in the engine. For a resilient construction, the connecting rod is double forged on special forgings. The optimized fiber flow supports strength, durability and dimensional stability.

The surfaces are treated by shot blasting. This blasting reduces internal stresses and smoothes the forged surfaces. Drum hammering is also used. Precisely positioned oil slots support the oil supply to the lower connecting rod area and help extend bearing life.
