MALOSSI H2O cylinder-piston kit with Ø 67 mm

The MALOSSI cylinder-piston kit is designed for the Derbi GPR 125 4 T 4 S built between 2009 and 2012. The cylinder has a bore of Ø 67 mm and is machined on high-precision CNC machines. The piston-cylinder fit is 0.05 mm and the compression ratio is 12:1.

Cylinders and heat transfer

• High-silicon, refined and hardened aluminum alloy
• Inner liner with silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix
• Cross-smoothing in two diamond steps while maintaining very tight tolerances
• Recalculated and extra large heat exchange surfaces

The precise CNC machining and the defined fit coordinate the cylinder and piston with one another. The enlarged heat exchange surfaces are aimed at the temperature balance of the assembly.

Pistons and piston rings

The weight-reduced and reinforced super-compact piston is designed with three segments. It consists of a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion and has an additive of tin on the sliding surfaces. The piston is also machined on CNC machines and has extra large heat exchange surfaces.

• First compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel
• Second piston ring made of special steel
• Three-piece oil scraper made of alloyed and chrome-plated special steel
• Special piston rings with a large stroke and extremely high mechanical strength
