Malossi H2O cylinder-piston kit with Ø 67 mm

This H2O cylinder-piston kit from Malossi combines a precisely machined cylinder with a weight-reduced and reinforced piston. The piston-cylinder fit is 0.05 mm. Newly calculated, extra-large heat exchange surfaces support heat exchange within the construction.

Cylinder and machining

• Bore: Ø 67 mm
• Compression ratio: 12:1
• Material: high-silicon, refined and hardened aluminum alloy
• Machining on high-precision CNC machines
• Piston-cylinder fit: 0.05 mm

The inner liner has a silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix. Cross-smoothing in two diamond steps ensures defined surface processing while maintaining very tight tolerances.

Pistons and piston rings

The super compact piston is designed with three segments. It consists of a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion and has an additive of tin on the sliding surfaces. Production takes place on CNC machines. The component is weight-reduced, reinforced and has extra-large heat exchange surfaces.
