Comprehensive care for canvas, leather and split leather

This care set was put together for the regular cleaning, waterproofing and refurbishment of bags, jackets and accessories made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Since not every product is suitable for every material, the respective application should always be selected based on the individual care instructions.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• Black or brown color cream, 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Para cleaning disc, 100 × 60 mm and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Impregnation

The waterproofing spray is intended for accessories, bags and jackets made of leather, canvas or split leather.

• If necessary, clean the item with warm, clear water.
• The spray can be used on wet or dry material.
• Shake the bottle and spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to improve distribution and reduce waste.
• For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours.

Attention: Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

For regularly used accessories, bags or jackets, resealing is recommended at least once a year. A soft cloth or sponge and a heat source are required for processing.

• Completely remove dirt and sand.
• Clean with sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or cleaning agents.
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Work in a warm room or outside in the sun.
• Place the item in the sun or near a heat source.
• Spread the wax sparingly with a cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and folds.
• Rub in thoroughly and avoid excess wax.
• Dry with a hairdryer after waxing for an even finish.
• Then hang in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather.

• Clean the area to be treated.
• Massage the cream in with a sponge and allow it to absorb.
• Let dry for 15 minutes.
• Polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush allows for even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brush with brass bristles is intended for cleaning and reconditioning split leather.
• The Para disc removes glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean it with a soft cloth.

The set is suitable for numerous bags, clothing items and accessories made from the materials mentioned, including appropriate equipment for the BMW R nineT Scrambler.
