Caponord windshield for the BMW R 1200 RT

The Caponord windshield is precision-designed for the 2005–2013 BMW R 1200 RT. Its pronounced touring shape provides generous coverage and its carefully designed contour blends into the distinctive front of the touring BMW.

Generous wind protection for rider and passenger

The Caponord contour is designed to provide extensive protection from oncoming airflow. It helps reduce air pressure and turbulence around the helmet and shoulders. Thanks to the larger protective area, the passenger also benefits from its touring focus on longer journeys.

Material and colour options

The windshield is made from high-quality PMMA acrylic with DOT626 marking and has a tested thickness of 4 mm. Two versions are available to suit the desired look:

• Smoke, code BM038F
• Clear, code BM038T
• 4 mm thick PMMA acrylic
• Large Caponord touring contour

Installation

The windshield is fitted to the designated mount on the BMW R 1200 RT. Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.

An ABE is available for the Caponord windshield. Before use, check the motorcycle and the full scope of validity in the document.
