High-mounted titanium exhaust styled after Dakar motorcycles

Developed jointly by Unit Garage and Akrapovič, this high-mounted exhaust combines Akrapovič technology with Unit Garage design and lines inspired by the BMW Dakar motorcycles of the 1980s.

Installation and everyday usability

The exhaust uses the original mounting points of the BMW R 12 G/S. No modifications to the motorcycle or ECU remapping are required. The stock passenger footpegs can be retained.

• Compatible with all Unit Garage luggage racks
• Not compatible with the left-side frame for BMW bags

Road approval

The exhaust is approved for road use and fully complies with EURO5+ regulations. A type-approval report is included.

Customers residing in Switzerland can request an additional, chargeable type-approval document from the manufacturer. This is issued by the Swiss type-approval authority.
