The book “Obiettivo Dakar” is dedicated to the Paris-Dakar and those early African editions whose motorcycles, colors and stories shaped the legend of the event. Along the route of Thierry Sabine's race, eight participants recount the challenges and memorable moments of their Dakar experiences.

Contents

The accounts trace part of the history of this extraordinary race. The protagonists featured in the book include Fabio Marcaccini of Unit Garage. His experiences at the Dakar and subsequent rallies also form part of the background from which various Unit Garage ideas originated.
