WRS Caponord windscreen for BMW K 1300 S

The WRS Caponord windscreen was developed for the BMW K 1300 S from model years 2009-2016. As a particularly tall version in this windscreen range, it is aimed at riders seeking significantly greater wind coverage for extended touring.

Maximum height within the range

The Caponord version is 21.5 cm taller than the original windscreen and retains its width. The original is stated to measure 32.5 cm high and 48 cm wide. The additional height improves wind coverage, particularly around the shoulders.

Designed for rider and passenger

The carefully developed contour is designed to reduce air turbulence for the rider and passenger. Despite its touring-focused size, the design follows the styling of the BMW K 1300 S and maintains a harmonious overall appearance.

Material and colour options

The windscreen is made from 3 mm thick PMMA plexiglass in accordance with DOT 626. The following options are available:

• Clear – BM115T
• Tinted – BM115F

Installation note

Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.
