The AXP Xtrem underrun protection with linkage protection protects central areas of the Beta RR 480 4 T X-PRO in demanding off-road use. The construction covers the subframe up to the footrests, thereby protecting the water pump, the housings and the linkage.

Protective function and structure

The underrun protection is made of PE-HD plastic and is finished in red. The material does not generate vibrations and is not deformed. Compared to a corresponding component made of aluminum, polyethylene plastic is 30 to 40% lighter. In addition, PE-HD offers greater resistance than skid plates made of carbon fiber.
