The MALOSSI H2O cylinder-piston kit is designed for the Aprilia Tuono 125 from 2019-2024. Cylinders and pistons are machined on CNC machines. A piston-cylinder fit of 0.05 mm and extra-large, newly calculated heat exchange surfaces are among the design features.

• Bore: Ø 67 mm
• Compression ratio: 12:1
• Piston-cylinder fit: 0.05 mm
• Cylinder made of high-silicon, refined and hardened aluminum alloy
• Inner liner with silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix
• Cross-smoothing in two diamond steps while maintaining very tight tolerances
• Machining on high-precision CNC machines

Pistons and piston rings

The weight-reduced and reinforced super-compact piston has three segments and extra-large heat exchange surfaces. It consists of a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion. There is a tin additive on the sliding surfaces.

• First compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel
• Second piston ring made of special steel
• Three-piece oil scraper made of alloyed and chrome-plated special steel
• Special piston rings with a large stroke and extremely high mechanical strength
