The H20 I-Tech cylinder set from Malossi is designed for the Aprilia SR GT 125 from 2021-2025. With a Ø 63 mm bore, 58.7 mm stroke and 183 cm³ displacement, it offers clearly defined technical dimensions for intended competition use.

The cylinder is made of a primary aluminum alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon. The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die. Cross smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances complements precise machining on numerically controlled machine tools. Newly calculated and improved heat exchange surfaces support the thermal design.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact, lightweight and reinforced piston has three rings. It is made from a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, which has low thermal expansion. The sliding surfaces have a tin coating. The piston is also machined on numerically controlled machine tools and has improved heat exchange surfaces.

• First ring: compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel
