Malossi H2O cylinder-piston kit with Ø 67 mm bore

The H2O cylinder-piston kit from Malossi is intended for the Aprilia 125 SX E 4 from 2019 to 2020. Cylinders, pistons and piston rings are coordinated with each other using precisely defined materials and machining processes. The piston-cylinder fit is 0.05 mm and the compression ratio is 12:1.

• Inner liner with silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix

Newly calculated, extra-large heat exchange surfaces are part of the cylinder construction and support thermal exchange during use.

Pistons and piston rings

The super-compact piston has three segments and is made from a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion. Addition of tin to the sliding surfaces, CNC machining as well as the reduced weight and reinforced design are among its design features. The piston also has extra large heat exchange surfaces.

• First compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel

• Three-piece oil scraper made of alloyed and chrome-plated special steel
• Special piston rings with extremely high mechanical strength
