The KIMPEX silencer is designed as a screw-on slip-on version for the Yamaha YFM 400 Kodiak 4 WD built between 1993 and 1998. Direct mounting on the OEM pipes allows the use of existing pipe routing. A special clutch is integrated; Seals are not required for assembly.

Function and execution

The steel silencer has a black finish and a spark arrester. Its heat-resistant paint is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 600 degrees. The galvanized main pipe complements the robust construction. All internal parts are fully welded and not spot welded.

Vehicle assignment

Suitable for the Yamaha YFM 400 Kodiak 4 WD in the full year range 1993-1998. The KIMPEX silencers were developed for ATVs with tires. They have not been tested for ATVs with track systems.

This version is suitable if a black steel muffler with spark arrester and slip-on mounting on the OEM pipes is required. Manufacturing takes place in Canada.
