PUIG Downforce Naked Side Wings for the YAMAHA MT-09

The PUIG side-wing set gives the YAMAHA MT-09 a distinctive supernaked silhouette while combining this look with aerodynamic functionality. Its aggressive, minimalist shape follows the motorcycle's lines, makes the front end appear wider and creates a flowing transition between the fuel tank and radiator.

Downforce-Focused Design

The upper surface of the winglets is designed to generate high vertical load at speed. The resulting downforce helps maintain front-tire contact, increases stability and reduces the front wheel's tendency to lift. It can also have a positive effect on shimmy tendencies, cornering performance and the motorcycle's composure.

Developed and manufactured in Barcelona

PUIG manufactures the side wings from ABS plastic. The set includes 2 mm metal brackets with a textured black anti-corrosion coating. The dimensions are 350 mm wide and 395 mm high.

Finishes and Integration

The set is available in matte black and carbon-look finishes. Its lines are also specifically designed to complement PUIG belly pan reference 20646. Installation requires no drilling into the fairing and can be completed without any special mechanical knowledge.
