PUIG V-Tech Line Touring with extended wind protection

The V-Tech Line Touring was developed for large-area aerodynamic coverage. Its shape, examined using virtual wind tunnel technology, guides the wind to the sides and supplements the windshield with side deflectors for hands and arms.

Touring geometry with side deflectors

The disc measures 650 mm in height and 485 mm in width. It is 80 mm higher than the original touring screen used and 265 mm higher than the corresponding original sports screen. The 165 mm increased width creates additional space for the integrated hand and arm deflectors.

Tested aerodynamic development

Compared to the original screen, the study showed 95 percent more aerodynamic protection and 1.95 kg less air pressure, without worsening the aerodynamic penetration coefficient. The side deflectors expel air that would otherwise hit the hands and arms.

Durable CN acrylic

PUIG manufactures the touring screen in Barcelona from 4 mm thick CN acrylic. The material is light, impact and scratch resistant and offers a clear view. Rounded 4 mm edges increase safety in the edge area.

Designed for easy replacement

The disc uses the mounting steps and screws of the original disc. This means that replacement is possible with just a few tools and without complex changes.
