MALOSSI H20 I-Tech cylinder set for Vespa GTS 125 I-GET Supersport

The H20 I-Tech cylinder set is intended for the Vespa GTS 125 I-GET Supersport from 2020. With a bore of Ø 63 mm, 58.7 mm stroke and 183 cm³ displacement, it offers a clearly defined technical design for competitive use.

Cylinder and machining

The cylinder is made of a primary aluminum alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon. The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die. A crossed smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances complements the precise execution. Machining is carried out on machine tools with high-precision numerical control. Newly calculated and improved heat exchange surfaces support the thermal design.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact, lightweight and reinforced piston features three rings. Its special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content is designed for low thermal expansion. There is a tin coating on the sliding surfaces. The piston is also machined on numerically controlled machine tools and has improved heat exchange surfaces.
