AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection made of 8 mm HDPE

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection protects the engine area and is designed for demanding enduro use. The component is made of high density polyethylene with a thickness of 8 mm. The construction covers the area from the frame to the underside of the footrests.

Function and construction

• Protection of the entire engine area through a large-area design
• Extended construction to protect the shock absorber deflection
• Double design in the area under the deflection
• Reinforcement part for the area under the deflection included in delivery

The extended cover incorporates the shock absorber deflection into the underbody protection. Below the deflection, the double design with the included reinforcement part ensures additional structural reinforcement of this area.

Testing in extreme conditions

The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young from the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions. This means that the design for tough enduro use is documented on the basis of this test.
