MALOSSI aluminum cylinder for Vespa LX IE 125

The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 pin ø 14 4-stroke is intended for the Vespa LX IE 125 from the 2012-2013 model year range. The cylinder has a bore of 63 mm, a stroke of 58.6 mm and a displacement of 182.67 cm³. The compression ratio is 11.15:1.

Technical features

• Material: Aluminum or primary aluminum alloy with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon
• Cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in electroplated nickel form
• Cross smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances
• Cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm
• Recalculated and improved heat exchange surfaces
• Ultra-compact piston with 3 rings made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content
• Pistons with low thermal expansion, tin coating on the sliding surfaces and reduced and reinforced versions
• Special rings with high sliding properties and very high mechanical strength

Vehicle assignment and installation instructions

The cylinder is assigned to the Vespa LX IE 125, built between 2012 and 2013. Installation is intended exclusively with the Force Master 2 control unit.
