Comprehensive Paris-Dakar conversion for the BMW R nineT

The PARIS DAKAR kit transforms the BMW R nineT with a large tank, two-piece seat, redesigned front and extensive travel, protection and luggage accessories. The shortened tank improves the position relative to the handlebars and makes it easier to maneuver the front wheel. All parts are painted and supplied with the graphics provided.

Paris-Dakar tank and bench

• Shortened tank with 22.5 liter capacity
• Range of around 400 km with a stated average consumption of 17.7 km/l
• Light White version with transparent stickers
• The original tank cap, original fuel pump and original activated carbon filter are still used
• The reserve display function remains intact
• All tank mounting brackets are included
• NB: TÜV tested
• Comfortable, two-part bench with an unchanged seat height of 850 mm
• The passenger part can be quickly removed using the included key to create more luggage space

Fairing and front

• Black ABS molded side panels with transparent stickers, mounting screws and vibration dampers
• Fenouil front fairing in the style of the R80 GS PD with matching front fender
• Front components made of ABS, already painted and can be mounted on the motorcycle without modifications
• Brackets and mounting screws for the front are included
• Black steel headlight guard, easy to assemble and disassemble
• Note: The headlight guard is not approved for road traffic.

Luggage solutions

• Matt black powder-coated steel luggage rack with pillion handles and a maximum load capacity of 5 kg
• The two leather straps for attaching items to the luggage rack are not included
• Handmade rear luggage bag made of full leather, stitched with nylon thread; Dimensions 20 × 28 × 15 cm
• Matt black powder-coated Paris-Dakar aluminum support plate to increase the contact surface when the pillion seat is removed
• Support plate including mounting screws and anti-slip rubber
• Handcrafted R80 style black leather tool bag; open 20 × 36 cm, rolled 20 × 10 cm

Protection and rear conversion

• Cylinder guard made of steel with high-strength black powder coating
• Delivery of the protective bar with spacer bushes and screws
• Most maintenance work is possible without dismantling the protective guard
• High license plate holder with steel holding arm and aluminum license plate plate, both powder-coated
• License plate with 185 × 185 mm
• The original indicators can still be used
• Compatible with designated bag holders, pillion handle and luggage racks

Handlebars and controls

• Old-school steel handlebars with crossbar, constant diameter of 22 mm and black powder coating
• Same height as the original handlebars, but with a more comfortable bend
• No changes to cables or brake lines required
• Compatible with heated grips
• ABE not yet available.
• Black leather handlebar padding for the handlebar cross member; 26 cm long and 6 cm in diameter
• A pair of CNC machined handlebar ends in glossy black with UNIT Garage logo and two M12 mounting screws

High stainless steel exhaust

• Hand-finished Moto GP style stainless steel tube with titanium end piece
• About 2.8kg lighter than the original
• With removable DB killer
• Mounting on the original vibration-damping bracket
• Approved for road use; The appropriate homologation report is included
• If the passenger area is shortened, an additional bracket, available separately, is required

Assembly and Compatibility

The conversion kit contains the components required for correct assembly and is supplemented by detailed video instructions. According to the manufacturer, it is compatible with all nineT models; In particular, the R nineT Roadster and R nineT Pure are listed in the present compatibility information.
