The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit ø 63 aluminum CVF2 pin ø 15 Sport is assigned to the Vespa PX E Arcobaleno Electric Starter 150 from the 1981-1997 model year range. The design combines an aluminum cylinder with a nickel-chrome-coated cylinder liner and a piston designed for racing.

Construction and function

The uniform wall thickness around the liner and openings supports constant heat exchange. Profiled cooling fins promote the flow of cooling air. The piston has a steel core with an aluminum and silicon alloy coating. Internal reinforcement ribs reduce weight in less stressed areas, while windows and diametrical grooves support fresh air flow to the cylinder openings.

The kit includes a basic set of gaskets of different thicknesses. This allows the compression to be adapted to different uses. The connection between the cylinder head and cylinder is carried out via precisely manufactured centering surfaces.
