MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit ø 63 for Vespa PX E 125

The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit ø 63 aluminum CVF2 pin ø 15 Sport was developed for the Vespa PX E 125 from the 1981-1997 model year range. The racing version combines a cylinder made of high-strength aluminum alloy with a cylinder liner and nickel-chrome coating.

Function and construction

The uniform wall thickness around the liner and openings supports controlled heat exchange. Aerodynamically profiled cooling fins promote the flow of cooling air. The revised CVF has 7 connections and is designed for efficient flow guidance.

The piston has a steel core with an aluminum and silicon alloy coating. Ribs on the inside of the piston skirt reinforce mechanically stressed areas. The windows in the rear piston area and the diametrical grooves support the supply of fresh air to the cylinder openings.
