MALOSSI crankshaft for Vespa Primavera 125

The MALOSSI crankshaft is designed for the Vespa Primavera 125 built between 1967 and 1975. Their design combines clearly defined dimensions with a design for engines with a diaphragm valve. The crankshaft takes over the movement control of the connecting rod and piston and supports the coordination of the intake by controlling the intake process.

The crankshaft is made from hardened and vacuum melted aeronautical grade steel. This material is very resistant to scratches. Tungsten inserts ensure shaft balance. The drive side has specially designed slopes that facilitate the entry of fresh gases into the lower housing. A finer thread on the axle and a revised position and shape of the key support the robust design. Special nuts complete the construction.

Vehicle assignment and assembly instructions

The vehicle assignment is: Vespa Primavera 125, built between 1967 and 1975. A separate mounting kit is required for installation. In addition, the crankshaft seat on the ignition side of the engine housing must be drilled to Ø 87.
