MALOSSI crankshaft for Vespa P ETS 125 with diaphragm valve

The MALOSSI crankshaft is intended for Vespa P ETS 125 engines converted to a reed valve intake system instead of the original rotary valve. Its design combines a resilient crankshaft construction with a geometry tailored to use in modified Vespa engines.

Function and construction

The crankshaft transmits the movement between the connecting rod and piston and supports the intake of fresh gas via the crankshaft control. The shaft is made from reinforced aviation grade steel and vacuum cast. The Viper Head connecting rod reduces weight while maintaining the required rigidity. Tungsten inserts are used to balance the crankshaft. A specially designed bevel on the gear-side crank half makes it easier to absorb fresh gas under the oil pan.

Vehicle assignment and installation instructions

Suitable for the Vespa P ETS 125, built between 1983 and 1990. A spacer kit is required for this vehicle and is available separately. The crankshaft seat on the ignition side of the engine housing must be drilled to ø 87.
