Kawasaki Z400 [2019+] - folding clutch lever and short brake lever

Precise control with compact lever ergonomics

Developed by Evotech Performance, the Evo Set combines a full-length folding clutch lever with a short, non-folding two-finger brake lever. Deeply rounded lever edges support pleasant and controlled operation.

Foldable clutch lever

If it comes into contact with a solid object, the clutch lever can swing up to reduce the risk of breakage. A preloaded spring and bearing keep it securely in position while driving. The lever is then manually returned to its original position.

Short Evo brake lever

The shorter brake lever is designed for two-finger operation. Its ball end is closer to the motorcycle and therefore further away from the end of the handlebars. In addition, it has a defined breaking point.

Construction and materials

• Machined billet aluminum lever blades and retainer connections
• CNC machined stainless steel clevis pins and locking clips
• Millings on the back to reduce weight while maintaining strength
• Black anodized levers and holder connections

Six-way adjustable grip width

Both levers offer six adjustment positions for different finger lengths. Milled markings indicate the selected position. The typical adjustment range is 17 mm at the center of the lever with a tolerance of ±1 mm.
