V-Force 4R membrane block for Husqvarna CR 125

The V-Force 4R membrane block optimizes the intake system of the 2-stroke engine and is intended for the Husqvarna CR 125 from the 2009-2014 model year range. The reed valve system improves intake efficiency compared to conventional original reeds, thereby supporting higher engine performance and more reactive throttle response.

Function and construction

• The new membrane tongue system combines a resin construction with carbon fiber and a coordinated layer structure.
• Pre-curved membrane tongues ensure a better seal at the tip.
• The wider membrane cage supports a higher air flow.
• The increased combined membrane tongue area allows for 10.5% more total air flow.
• The aerodynamically shaped cage tip with Airfoil profile increases the air speed on the outer channels.

Technical features

Extended membrane stops gradually slow down the speed of the membrane tongue tip, thereby contributing to greater durability of the membranes. The extended stops and pre-curved shape work together to improve tip sealing. The central strut has a 15.6% reduced frontal area and a more aerodynamic shape, which supports airflow in the membrane cage. A rubber coating on the surface of the cage tip provides additional protection to the area and supports a longer service life for the membranes.
