The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder Ø 67 H2O 4T HONDA is intended for the Honda CBR 125 R (JC 34) built between 2004 and 2005. Its design combines an aluminum construction with a cylinder liner that is coated with silicon carbide and cross-cut honed.

Cylinder with coordinated machining

The cylinder is made of aluminum with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon. Production takes place on machine tools with precise numerical control. The cylinder-piston clearance is 0.05 mm. Recalculated and improved heat exchange surfaces support heat transfer within the assembly.

Lightweight piston with three rings

The ultra-compact piston is made of special aluminum with a high silicon content. Its low thermal expansion and the tin coating on the sliding surfaces are tailored to the intended use. The processing is numerically controlled. The lightweight construction is reinforced and has improved heat exchange surfaces.
