PUIG New Generation Touring for the BMW S1000R

The New Generation Touring windscreen combines precise lines with significantly enhanced wind protection for the BMW S1000R from 2021 onward. Its sharply defined shape follows the motorcycle’s sporty, minimalist styling, wraps around the sides of the headlight and uses a prominent central ridge to direct airflow to either side of the rider.

Fitment: BMW S1000R from model year 2021 onward without the original BMW bracket. This version is fitted using the matching PUIG metal brackets in subtly textured black.
PUIG New Generation Touring windscreen for the BMW S1000R from 2021 onward

Touring geometry with an aerodynamic focus

The central ridge splits the oncoming airflow and directs it past either side of the rider. With a protective height of 235 mm above the instruments, the screen provides 76% more aerodynamic protection. This enhances comfort and reduces strain on longer rides without obscuring the clean lines of the S1000R.

Dimensions and material

  • Height: 455 mm
  • Width: 320 mm
  • Protective height above the instruments: 235 mm
  • Material thickness: 3 mm
  • Impact-resistant PMMA acrylic
  • Rounded edges for enhanced rider safety

PUIG manufactures the Barcelona-designed screen using technologies that enable a lightweight yet durable construction. Depending on your preferred look, it is available in clear, tinted, dark tinted and black.

Model-specific mounting

On motorcycles without the original BMW bracket, the screen is secured using PUIG’s high-quality metal brackets with a textured black finish. The assembly uses six screws and two reinforcement supports to provide the necessary rigidity, even at higher speeds.

A German ABE document is available for this windscreen. Before use, please check the stated scope to ensure it covers your motorcycle and the selected version.
