Comprehensive RAD Conversion Kit in Light White and Matt Black

The RAD kit extensively redesigns the front and tank area of the BMW GS. The combination of lightweight ABS fairing parts, stainless steel components and CNC-machined aluminum details creates a slimmer, more tapered profile and combines the new look with functional airflow elements.

Fairing and Design

• One pair of lightweight ABS tank covers in Light White with graphics and transparent protection
• One pair of lightweight ABS side panels in Matt Black with matte transparent sections
• Redesigned front section with mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Matte black ABS element with logo beneath a matte transparent finish and matching bracket
• Matte black ABS center cover

The tank covers are painted in original colors and supplied pre-drilled. The front section can accommodate the original logos taken from the motorcycle. Alternatively, two pre-cut decals are included.

Airflow and Function

• One pair of matte black ABS radiator deflectors directs warm radiator air away from the rider's legs.
• The airbox snorkels replace the original airflow restrictors and, according to the manufacturer, increase performance in the mid-range.
• One pair of sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side protection elements supports airflow at the airbox snorkels.
• CNC-machined air intakes made from solid Ergal enhance the front area of the tank sides.
• The air intakes are anodized, fitted with laser-cut stainless steel mesh and feature the Unit Garage logo on the sides.

Installation and Compatibility

The side panels, radiator deflectors, additional ABS element and center cover are mounted to the tank covers. The radiator deflectors are also prepared for attachment to the frame. The kit is intended for the BMW R 1200 GS LC, excluding the Adventure version, from model years 2013 to 2019 and, according to the manufacturer's application listing, for the BMW R 1250 GS. The respective model year of the motorcycle must be considered when selecting the kit.
